Zayn Malik Announces New Song Date

The day is finally here. The day we have all been eagerly waiting for. No, it’s not the second coming of Jesus Christ, even though this is equally as important. It’s the day that former One Direction band member and regulation hottie Zayn Malik announced his first solo song.

After splitting from One Direction almost a year ago, the world has speculated of Zayn’s possible solo career. But after staying relatively silent, aside from posting the occasional shirtless selfie on Instagram, Zayn has finally confirmed his solo singing plans.

The singer posted a rather delicious photo on Instagram dictating that January 29 is his single release date.

January 29th! Can you believe this? That’s only five days away. I am emotionally not ready for this.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the flawlessness of shirtless Zayn. Leaving One Direction has done wonders to his body. I mean those abs, or should I say Zabs. Damn boy, you got my attention.

According to Rolling Stone, Malik has been working with Frank Ocean producer Malay. This brings truth to the rumours of Malik’s more soulful R&B sound. Which probably means that his new single “Pillowtalk” is going to be a sextastic bedroom anthem. Yaas Zayn, slay my body.

It’s been over a year since Zayn has released any music. The last record he released with One Direction was their Four album. With his new It Couple status with model Gigi Hadid and new music it’s clear Zayn is gearing up to make 2016 the year of Malik. Let the countdown to January 29th begin.
