It’s been about 10 months since the world has heard the angelic voice of actual prince Zayn Malik. But thanks to a higher power that’s all changed.
After announcing his new single earlier this week, the former One Direction member finally released his new music video for “Pillowtalk”. The video is very dark and artsy, and while I don’t understand the symbolism behind the flashy lights and the flowers, it’s still pretty sensual and sexy. Malik cast real life girlfriend Gigi Hadid as his love interest in the video which makes it that much better.
Now with a song called “Pillowtalk” I was expecting something a little more sexual. I was thinking less clothes and more pillows. But nevertheless the video was still nice. I was expecting more from the song though. I imagined Zayn going for more of The Weeknd sound. But that being said, the more I listen to it the more I enjoy it. To be honest I’m just glad to have my brown prince back and making sweet music.
For the love of Yeezus what is going on in the Kardashian house?
Everyone knows Rob as the man of the Kardashian household. Currently Rob is dealing with personal issues and hasn’t been seen on Keeping Up With The Kardashians for the past two seasons. Well the former reality TV star is currently making headlines for his rumoured romance with Blac Chyna.
Confession time: I’ve never really considered myself to be a big Selena Gomez fan. Yes, I watched every episode of Wizards of Waverly Place and I danced along to “Come and Get It”, but I never really cared for Selena. Yes, she’s beautiful and charismatic but I just thought she was kind of bland. I used to laugh when people would call her Selegend Gomez. Because really she ain’t no legend. But now I am laughing at myself. However, as much as I tried to ignore it, I am officially a Selena Gomez fan.
OH MY ZAYN!
The day is finally here. The day we have all been eagerly waiting for. No, it’s not the second coming of Jesus Christ, even though this is equally as important. It’s the day that former One Direction band member and regulation hottie Zayn Malik announced his first solo song.
If you know me then you know that I am a huge Disney freak. Even at the prime age of 24 I still relish my old Disney movies. Who needs to go out in public when I can stay in with Cinderella, Mulan, and Tarzan? But out of all the great Disney movies out there my favourite Disney movie, perhaps my favourite movie of all time, is The Little Mermaid. I don’t even know how to put into words my love of this movie. Ever since I watched it when I was a toddler, I was mesmerized. Even my parents couldn’t understand why I was so infatuated by a mermaid princess. Well, after watching Ariel turn into a human for the 723523452459 time I think I finally figured why I was so drawn to this movie. The Little Mermaid is actually LGBT friendly. Growing up as a young closeted gay The Little Mermaid was probably my first foray into the gay community.
As part of my whole “new year, new me” resolution, I’ve decided to revive my love of reading. Reading is something I’ve always enjoyed as a kid. I mean every millennial kid completely devoured young adult novels like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and Gossip Girl. But over the years I’ve noticed myself putting down the books and picking up my television remote. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to watch copious amounts of TV, but one of my new year’s resolutions is to Netflix less and read more. So for my first book of the new year I chose none other than the Queen Bey’s biography, or as I like to call it: her Bey-ography.
Because there are other letters in the alphabet other than “K”
